US Constitution? The Constitution clearly outlines the functions of the three branches of the federal government and the 10th amendment leaves all other powers to the states and the people. How did we get to the point of the federal government mandating health insurance, auto insurance, MediCare, Social Security, income taxes,…ad naseum?

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

It has happened over time. More and more political figures with liberal minded agendas to 'help those that cannot do it themselves" (when it should be too lazy to do it themselves) got into power and they want to be the nice politician and help the little guy. The thing is, it is like the health care bill, it isn't sustainable. The more money that was coming into the Federal Gov meant more power of the purse over the nation.

If we push for the Fair Tax that takes away that power and gives it back tot he people (that is why so many of the liberals are against it).

Too Comfortable and lazy.

FDR and his New Deal.

libs are running the show now (straight into the ground).

Because this it was happens when your government no longer runs things for the people and instead runs it for big business. It would take another revolution to get this country back in shape. The way it stands now our elected officials at almost every level are all about making their buddies rich and could care less about the majority of the people.

Two words: Patriot Act.

Well you can help by spreading awareness of this legislation. You know the usual stuff, tell every one, annoy your representatives and etc…

HR 450: The Enumerated Powers Act
To require Congress to specify the source of authority under the United States Constitution for the enactment of laws, and for other purposes.
